CRATEs can be found in the Shop section under Packs.

Every CRATE can either be bought with 3000 DEC or 3000 FORGE to incentivize a soft peg between the two tokens. Right now FORGE is trading well below DEC, making it possible for people to grab Crates at an even cheaper price than normal - This will change as the market changes.

CRATEs contain 5 equipment cards, 1 guaranteed to be rare or greater. The different rarities are: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary equipment.

The chances of getting X rarity are as follows:

Rarity
Drop Chance-%

Common

75.20%

Rare

20%

Epic

4%

Legendary

0.80%

Gold foil equipment can NOT be found in CRATEs and is only achievable when using the Reforge.

Equipment can and should be combined, forging many pieces into one stronger piece... More about this in Equipment, gems and runes.

Also, SplinterForge offers a Single Purchase Bulk-bonus tiers to get bonus CRATEs:

  • 50 CRATEs (10%)

  • 250 CRATEs (15%)

  • 1000 CRATEs (20%)

Additionally, for every 200,000 CRATEs distributed, there will be an additional card airdropped to all eligible users.

Each CRATE is a Hive-Engine/Tribaldex token that can be transferred in and out of the game as well as bought and sold on Hive-Engine/Tribaldex.

The Crates are the ones on the left.
